Anthem Worldwide has redesigned the packaging of Kleenex Ultra Soft tissues for Kimberly-Clark. Anthem has traded the Kleenex logo with the words ‘Feel me’ in the brand’s distinctive typeface. A rippled silk design has replaced the original photograph of a mother and child. The new boxes will be on the shelves from the end of the week.

Conceptual designer Stephan Bischof has designed the ‘wheelie bin urinal’, in a bid to tackle public urination. Trialled on the streets of Lewisham, south London, to encourage public feedback, the design has been pitched to the Design Against Crime Research Centre. The urinal conduit channels urine into a tray at the bottom of the bin where it is mixed with garden waste to make bio-fertiliser.

Focus DIY & Gardening is rolling out branding and packaging, designed by Yin & Yang, for its World of Colour range of products, which includes paint, wallpaper, soft furnishings, blinds and curtains. The paint packaging uses transparent tubs that allow the product’s colours to show through. A flower motif is printed on each label, which Yin & Yang hopes will increase the brand’s aspirational appeal.
