Birthday book

Manchester-based consultancy Love has created a tenth anniversary book for Scandinavian textile design group Korpi & Gordon, which is best known for its work for Ikea. The book, which launches on 12 April, was created by Love designer Emma Morton and head of copy Dave Bevan, who travelled to Stockholm to gather inspiration from traditional Scandinavian design.

Wonderland WPA has created branding for new drink Carnaby Brown, a 5.5 per cent ABV sparkling fruit wine. The consultancy began working with Carnaby Brown brand owner Aisling Young a year ago, and has agreed to a long-term commercial partnership with her. Carnaby Brown launches on to the market today.

Who would I choose from outside the design industry as a non-executive director (Voxpop, DW 11 February)? It depends what I would want one for: to drive efficiencies, grow, sell, develop myself, develop my board and so on. Do I even need a non-executive to help find the non- executive? It’s an important decision because they will have great influence. Perhaps Rear-Admiral Roy Clare RN Rtd. Why? Because he’s an incisive thinker who I like a lot.
