Channel 4 launches online animation channel

Channel 4 has launched an online animation channel, 4mations, designed by Aardman Animations' digital design team. Aardman collaborated on the logo with Brett Foraker, head of C4's in-house team, the group behind the current C4 idents. The website features an archive of more than 500 animations, plus user-generated content.

London Design Festival

Lee Broom is presenting his second collection of art furniture, Rough Diamond, at the London Design Festival. He will take over Brick Lane Gallery, London E1, from 16-22 September, where he will showcase vintage furniture that has been transformed into design art. The collection will include Bright on Bistro (pictured), an antique classic Bentwood chair rescued from a teahouse in Brighton. Broom will also present a selection of his work at Tent London, from 18-21 September.

True Visions unveils two new channels

Thai pay-television provider True Visions has this week unveiled the branding and idents for two new channels - True Asian Series and comedy channel Hay Ha - both designed by UK group Tilt Design.
