  • Brown Thomas revamps womenswear floor

    Irish department store Brown Thomas has refurbished the womenswear floor of its Cork outlet, with retail design by Gregor Partnership. The 1625m2 space houses clothing and footwear. The design features a maple grey timber floor and a hand-woven carpet runner, which will act as a 'cat-walk'. Gregor Partnership continues to work across Brown Thomas' Dublin, Galway and Limerick stores.

    The London Design Festival reduced its losses from £18 538 in 2004 to £2300 in 2005, according to the latest accounts filed at Companies House. Management consultancy Stratagem is set to publish its 'full-scale economic evaluation' of the festival and its management team. The 2006 event attracted just 300 000 visitors, down on the 475 000 visitors seen in 2005. The London Development Agency allocated £200 000 of funding for this year's event.
