NB Studio has designed the British Heart Foundation’s Annual Review 2010 following its inclusion on the charity’s design roster (News, DW 26 August). Illustrator Frances Castle and photographer John Angerson have contributed to the design, which has been formulated in a comic-strip style. The review, titled ’Small wonders, big difference’, charts the charity’s development since 1961 through a ’timeline of illustrations’, but primarily focuses on its work over the past year.

A new skincare brand called Nip & Fab is launching with visual identity and packaging designed by Paul Cartwright Branding. The brand was developed by Rodial founder Maria Hatzistefanis, who appointed the consultancy on the strength of its work on the Rodial brand. Nip & Fab, which treats common skin problems, launches in Boots in September.

In 21 years of working in this industry I have never officially been given a job title (Voxpop, DW 26 August). When I worked at my previous consultancy there were 14 designers and one boss. We just got on with the job without the hierarchy of a title structure.
