Bonadio leaves C21 position

Franco Bonadio has left C21 where he was creative director, but will continue to work as a consultant for the group, says C21 managing director Rebecca Collings.Collings says the consultancy is not looking to replace Bonadio, but will reconsider its options 'when the market picks up'.Bonadio says he wants to diversify his experience and work 'with groups keen to expand into integrated communications'.

Comic strip postcards

Comic strip postcards, by Simon Grennan and Christopher Sperandio, are encouraging Milton Keynes residents to take a fresh look at the city's disparate public art (Crescentia Low's story pictured). The cards are based on stories about local art - some fictional, others real. Available from the Milton Keynes Gallery, the cards range from childhood memories of playing round Eilis O'Connell's The Space Between to dressing up as a jockey and riding Elisabeth Frink's black horse.

The heartfelt plea for more job opportunities in design from Dan Cox (Letters, DW 22 August) was literate, but hardly persuasive. Sadly, in today's market there is a surplus of designers - especially young designers and more especially designers who, unlike Dan, cannot communicate effectively.
