    Simon Gofton has created a vinyl-DVD hybrid for the release of Alarm Clock by The Rumble Strips.     Red Design has art directed the sleeve for the debut album from Burbuja, the first release on Cristian Vogel’s Station 55 Records. Burbuja was formed by Merche Blasco and features musique concrète compositions created from sounds collected in European cities. Red Design has created a bespoke typeface from woven, hair-like strands to reflect the ‘delicate, fragile nature of the music’. Photography is by Phillip Ebeling.

    Spanish design group Calcco has designed a new look for Gruppo Faustino's Portia wine label, which launches in the UK this month at Selfridges in London. The label is inspired by a frozen moon, as Portia is one of the moons circling Uranus. The vintner is also building a new winery at its estate in Spain, designed by architect Foster & Partners, and due to be completed by 2008.
