The Victoria & Albert Museum in London is to unveil an exhibition on historical British design figure James ‘Athenian’ Stuart, with print design by Rose Design.

Stuart is a compelling figure in British design from the 18th century, recognised for his role in pioneering Neo-Classicism.

He developed his career across various fields, including interior decoration, sculpture, furnishing, metalwork and architecture.

Rose has produced a range of print graphics for the exhibition, such as posters, invitations, advertisements and leaflets supporting the show and associated lecture programmes.

The exhibition, which opens on 15 March, is the first comprehensive retrospective of Stuart’s work. It presents him as an architect, artist and taste-maker, setting his work in the context of 18th century design culture.
