Siegel & Gale is to return to the UK market with the acquisition of London branding consultancy Karakter, it has just been announced.

Karakter was formed in 2003 by three Siegel & Gale Europe directors, when the consultancy was closed. The acquisition therefore reunites Karakter's managing director Shahar Silbershatz, creative director Clive Rohald and design director Kam Devsi with the group.

Siegel & Gale is part of Omnicom's Diversified Agency Services network. Karakter will now be known as Siegel & Gale UK and becomes part of the DAS network.
