About the role
Bring your editorial expertise and your passion for the creative industry to the world’s best selling creative magazine brand, Computer Arts.
As Editor you’ll be the figurehead for the magazine and will be ultimately responsible for ensuring a top quality and innovative magazine, as well as managing and developing your editorial team. As Editor, you’ll work closely with the Publisher to develop and deliver the long term publishing strategy, continue the development of Computer Arts and grow magazine circulation. You will also work closely with the Editor of the sister title Computer Arts Projects. Using your creative and editorial skills, you will plan the editorial structure and content of each issue, commission freelancers and pass copy, proofs and layouts for publication.
About You
To secure this fantastic opportunity you will have strong editorial skills, drive and creative flair combined with excellent magazine craft skills. With experience as an Editor or Deputy Editor of a newsstand magazine, you’ll also have a good understanding of the digital creative industry.
You will be keen to take on a new role where you can move Computer Arts forward and maintain the high quality content of the magazine.
