Furniture and product design consultancy Barber Osgerby was founded by Royal College of Art graduates Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby in 1996. Their first piece was the Loop Table, which was created for Isokon in 1997. Their projects are held in permanent collections in museums including the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Barber Osgerby also designed the Torch for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, with the project named the overall winner of the Design Museum’s Design of the Year Awards for 2012.
