DBA Effectiveness Awards shortlist announced

The Design Business Association has announced the shortlisted winners of this year’s Design Effectiveness Awards.

A total of 61 projects have been selected to go through to win a Bronze, Silver or Gold award at the awards evening, which will be held on 7 February 2013.

The awards recognise projects that can demonstrate design’s tangible effect on a client’s business.

Elmwood leads the way with seven nominations, while WPA Pinfold has four.

Tayburn, BrandOpus and Pearlfisher each have three nominations, while Lewis Moberly, Honey, Good, Positive, Blue Marlin, Dew Gibbons, Bonfire and Coley Porter Bell each have two.

Start JudgeGill, The Engine Room, Casa Rex, The Team, Holmes & Marchant, Michon, Thompson Brand Partners, Design Activity, Rufus Leonard, Kiwi&Pom, 999 Design, Springetts, Studio 176, Creative Media, Kinneir Dufort, Jones Knowles Ritchie, Front Page, Path, Lambie-Nairn & SomeOne, Beyond Communications, Brand42, Appetite, Webb deVlam, Graymatter and Design Bridge each have one nomination.

Also announced in February 2013 will be the Grand Prix and the Top of the Table Award, for the consultancy with the highest score of wins over the past three years.

Last year’s Grand Prix was won by Smith & Milton for its rebrand of Legal & General, while Elmwood currently holds the Top of the Table title, followed by Pearlfisher in second and The Team in third.
