Movember which raises funds and awareness for prostate and testicular cancer by encouraging men to grow moustaches, has just unveiled new branding by Melbourne based Urchin Associates.

Last year the Gallery of Mo, a project by digital consultancy Twentysix raised thousands of pounds and this year it’s making a return by flogging work by some 180 illustrators and artists who hope to change the face of men’s health.

Twentysix says, ‘Donors pick an artist, or can ask to have one randomly assigned, and make a donation to Movember. The amount donated is reflected in the time spent on their portrait.’

Contributors include Drew Millward and other special guest artists, including comic book artist Charlie Adlard and ‘creature creator’ Felt Mistress who has donated a moustachioed sculpture called Monty, which is set to be raffled on the Gallery of Mo website.

Twentysix designer Adam Campion says, ‘We are excited to have gained Movember’s full backing this year and can’t wait to see the portraits some of our volunteer artists, illustrators and designers come up with.’

For a fee, members of the public can have a moustachioed portrait of themselves created by one of hundreds of volunteer artists and illustrators.
