Art and Music mash-up Menagerie invites illustrators to put pen to paper and draw artworks inspired by musical tracks for a mixtape-cum-magazine. It is the brainchild of illustrator Jake Blanchard, who chooses the tracks, sends them to the illustrators then compiles the work into the album artwork.

Menagerie Two, which features the work of Andrew Rae, Will Sweeney and Sarah King, will be released as a limited-edition of 500 copies from Blackest Rainbow Records.

Rae has illustrated the Akron/Family’s East Cost, Blanchard himself worked on Home of Dogs by Joanne Robertson and Matthew Ashworth, James Trimmer/Mirt was inspired by Favorite Song by Wand and Sarah King created visuals for Case Resurrected by Natural Snow Buildings.

Further tracks by Married In Berdichev, Moon Duo, The See See and Seadog were illustrated by Solange Gularte, Wills Sweeney, Mat Pringle and Pete Fowler.
