That's a wrap
New graphic design and illustration magazine Wrap will launch in October and showcase work as pull-out wrapping paper.

Formatted as a newspaper, double sided pull out prints will feature throughout and profiles of contributing illustrators, artists and designers will be printed on a centre-fold.

Co-founder Chris Harrison says, ‘It will form a platform through which new and established creatives can have their work published.’
Wrap is now looking for design contributions to be considered for the launch issue and requests that all submissions are sized 578 x 380 mm, sent as a 300dpi jpeg and CMYK formatted. Interested parties have until 15 August to submit work to info@thewrappaper.com

Harrison says, ‘Although there is no official theme for the issue it might be worth bearing in mind that it will be on sale during the Christmas period.’
Harrison and co-founder Polly Glass plan to distribute and sell the magazine through shops, museums and galleries in and around London.
The quarterly magazine which is printed on 100 per cent recycled paper will launch in the autumn.
