The British Ceramics Biennial is under way where there are 20 exhibitions and 75 national and international ceramic artists showing their wares.

Among the shows there are some impressive installations to be found as well including a new piece by Bruce McLean and a bone china WW1 memorial by Stephen Dixon and Jonny Magree commemorating the North Staffordshire Regiment.

Some interactive works have been commissioned including Again by Lawrence Epps, which features a fairground “coin-pusher” machine adapted to operate hand-made ceramic coins.

The British Ceramics Biennial runs until 8 November in Stoke on Trent.
