Sennep, onedotzero and Atomic have created an “interactive helix” for Cancer Research UK, which aims to encourage donations to the charity.

The project has been created ahead of the planned opening of the Francis Crick Institute in 2016 – a new centre which aims to tackle diseases including cancer.

To promote engagement, and show appreciation to donors, those who donate to Cancer Research UK will see their name included in a DNA Helix (a nod to Francis Crick, famous for co-discovering the DNA molecule structure).

The responsive interactive was built using a custom 3D engine. Each donor receives a URL, providing them with a personalised experience, and donor names sit alongside others that have donated and key scientists involved in the research.
