Common Sans typeface, by Essen International

Swedish design firm Essen International has teamed up with water treatment company Solvatten to create a new typeface called Common Sans.

The typeface changes the word “refugee” to the word “human” when the former is typed. Essen International explains the project on its website saying: “We wanted to create a hint of awareness and attempt to make the world a little better, at least one letter at a time.”

Common Sans is free to download at www.commonsans.com.
