Gene Bible: A Series of Icons, by Gene Bible

An exhibition presenting words and images intermingled to create artworks is set to open next week.

Artist Gene Bible will present images that are “British favourites”, such as that of the Union Jack, and pop-art interpretations of icons such as David Bowie.

The project aims to show that typography can be used to “great effect in the creation of art”, as well as a method of communication.

Gene Bible: A Series of Icons will take place 4 – 30 September at Grace Belgravia, 11c West Halkin Street, London, SW1X 8JL.
