Grafters exhibition, by The Office of Craig Oldham

The Office of Craig Oldham has designed and produced the Grafters exhibition for the People’s History Museum in Manchester.

The exhibition captures scenes of industrial life in 19th, 20th and 21st century Britain, and has been curated by photographer, Ian Beesley, featuring a series of original poems from writer, poet and broadcaster, Ian McMillan.

Craig Oldham says: “As class is an inseparable part of this, and an underpinning theme of the exhibition, it was an early idea to elevate the imagery and salon-hang the photography in recognition of these unknown ‘grafters’ who have collectively shaped our industry, history, and our country.”
