The Modern Toss has released a set of satirical adult colouring books, which offer an ‘alternative’ vision of the genre.

The books, entitled The Working Day and Mindless Violence, feature a series of pencil drawings inspired by ironic episodes of monotony in the workplace and unchecked violence.

Created by the agency’s cult cartoonists Jon Link and Mick Bunnage, the books subvert the genre’s traditional ‘relaxing vision’ to highlight the dark humour present in everyday life.

The Working Day presents a sardonic view of the contemporary workplace and the daily commute, while Mindless Violence details people taking out their frustrations within a series of senseless and aggressive scenarios.
