Typographer Erik Spiekermann has designed a set of scarves and pocket squares for Unamono, which plays on the idea of men enjoying measuring things. “Men love tools for measuring and working things out,” says Spiekermann who adds, “They know how many litres in a gallon, how many inches in a foot, and what that means in centimeters.” With this in mind he has designed a grid pattern with numbers, which celebrates practical as well as aesthetic value. There are five different colour schemes, designed “primarily with male customers in mind” says Unamono.
