TV Remote for Dogs, by Wagg

Dogglebox

This prototype of the first ever dog TV remote will allow dogs to control the TV when their owner leaves the room. Pet food brand, Wagg, worked with Ilyena Hirskyj-Douglas, PhD Researcher in Animal Computer Interaction Design at the University of Central Lancashire, to develop the prototype. It marks the next step in the growing trend of animal computer interaction.

The prototype functions similarly to a normal TV remote and has a number of dog-friendly features including waterproof plastic, large yellow buttons on a blue background, low-frequency squeak sounds that appeal to dogs and a hole to attach a rope toy for the dog to interact with and carry the remote.
