Internet Week Europe returns
Internet Week Europe is back for its third annual instalment this week, taking in events at the Victoria & Albert Museum, Google headquarters and other venues across London.
Internet Week Europe aims to celebrate the online industry and community and is co-chaired by Poke’s Nick Farnhill and Nicolas Roope.
This year’s highlights include a tour of Google HQ and its newly launched YouTube Creator Space, and app-prototyping class at Made by Many, and the Proper English Breakfast with General Assembly, featuring IDEO design director Tom Hulme.
Another centrepiece will be the Lovie Awards winners party, which will be held on 14 November.
Other Internet Week Europe contributors this year include The Church of London, UKTI and Econsultancy.
Internet Week Europe co-chairman Nicolas Roope says, ‘There’s now enough variety in this year’s calendar that no appetite will be left unwhetted.
‘Now in its third year, this festival has evolved into a true testament of the diversity of creativity out there across the continent – this week allows every single one of these different disciplines, factions and niches to cross-fertilise, to converse, and ultimately to collectively present to the public the strength of our digital community.’
Internet Week Europe runs until 16 November. For more information visit www.internetweekeurope.com.
