Its a dog’s life for Kate at Tank

Rolling stone Kate Irving appears to have been stopped in her tracks by her new job as managing director of graphics group Tank. We recently highlighted her succession of rapid career moves, after her latest new job (DW 7 August).

Tank chief executive officer Lou Barron has now written to us to set the record straight. ‘I returned from holiday a couple of weeks ago, having left the Tank guard dog, Jack the Jack Russell Terrier, in the custody of our md – Kate Irving,’ he says.

‘Imagine my surprise when I walked into the studio and discovered Kate, dog in one hand, container of Bob Martin’s flea powder in the other, singing Land of Hope and Glory at the top of her voice.

‘So I guess Tank has cured Kate’s itchy feet.’
