#Twittbrief collaborative art and design
The Twittbrief exhibition returns to London next month showcasing a set of design responses to crowd sourced twitter-briefs.
Design director of the project Adam Rowe worked with ManVsMachine where he is head of design, as well as Maninframe and See No Evil to jointly curate Twittbrief using, you’ve guessed it, Twitter.
Artists include Maxwell Broughton, Matt Burke, Dan Robinson Miller and Rowe who in a meta twist responded to the brief ‘Twitbrief.’
Suggestions for briefs were sent as single words – such as ‘fandangle’ and ‘lasagne’ – which were tweeted to Rowe, or @adamrowetv we should say, along with the Twittbrief hashtag.
Rowe then put these words to a network of visual artists from the worlds of illustration, photography, 3D printing who were left completely to their own devices to interpret them, notably in a completely isolated and subjective way.
There have been 25 pieces selected for the show, each costs £30 and all profits go to charity.
Twittbrief takes place on 7 May at The Bedroom Bar at 62 Rivington Street, EC2A
