Design Bridge founder Nick Verebelyi leaves in restructure

Design Bridge founder Nick Verebelyi is leaving the consultancy.

Verebelyi is to pursue new opportunities elsewhere, following the amalgamation of 3D branding and structural packaging arm Design Bridge Structure into the Design Bridge London business, according to a statement from the consultancy.

The consultancy says the 15-strong team of product designers will continue to work across Design Bridge’s three offices.

Verebelyi, who has been at Design Bridge for 17 years, says, ‘I am very proud of the business and the reputation that we have built. I feel honoured to have led extremely talented creative teams resulting in some classic pieces of three-dimensional branding.

‘I look forward to continuing to work with great creatives and to doing more outstanding work for clients. And I will carry on the crusade for truly branded three-dimensional design that transcends the truly utilitarian.’

Bill Goodenough, group executive chairman of Design Bridge, says, ‘The corporate integration of the three-dimensional business reflects the way our work has changed over the past five years. This change will allow us to leverage our capabilities to deliver three-dimensional innovation across our three offices in London, Amsterdam and Singapore.’

He adds, ‘Nick is a true professional and enormously respected within Design Bridge and in the industry. He will be sadly missed both personally and professionally by many people who have worked with him over the past 17 years.’
