Chelsea College of Art and furniture manufacturer and retailer Made.com have announced the winners of its Glocalisation project, a trade-not-aid initiative that aims to raise money for victims of Aids and HIV in South Africa.

The exhibition shows the result of a cross-continent initiative between charity Monkeybiz and the college, where talented students have wall panels products using traditional South African beading techniques, the best of which will be sold by Made.com as an art collection to raise money for Aids victims.

Judges including H&M design team manager Lina Hellgren and design doyenne Lucia van der Post selected the four winning designs.

Work by Ruth Kelly from Tunbridge Wells, Jacqueline Lefferts from New York, Alice Munteanu from Romania, and Katherine Lawson from London Ealing, will be sold by the online furniture retailer.
