The Giant Egg Hunt
The Giant Egg Hunt

More than 200 giant Fabergé eggs from London’s Big Egg Hunt are on display in Covent Garden this weekend. Designed by the likes of Mulberry and the Chapman Brothers, they’re being auctioned off to raise money for Action for Children and Elephant Family. Favourites include the furry one, the one with all the bowties and the surreal one with Maggie Smith on it.

The Big Egg Hunt Grand Eggstravaganza runs until 9 April at Covent Garden piazza, London, WC2

Sir Peter Blake’s Sgt Pepper remake

Sir Peter Blake for Vintage
Sir Peter Blake for Vintage

It’s the 45th birthday of The Beatles’ Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album this year as well as the 80th birthday of Sir Peter Blake, who created the famous album artwork. To celebrate, he’s remade it. The original crowd of The Beatles’ heroes has been replaced with cultural icons chosen by Blake. It’s an insight into who inspires the Pop Artist, even if it’s not a very ethnically diverse crowd.
