COI seeks creative director

The Central Office for Information is hunting for a creative director in an attempt to raise the creative standards of the organisation, as well as across Government as a whole.

Responsibilities for setting the standards of the COI’s creative output, as well as assisting clients in appreciating the time and research investment, would be key to the role.

The decision to appoint a creative director at board level was made as a result of an internal review. The person appointed will report directly to chief executive officer Alan Bishop.

There are a number of staff responsible for creative output within the organisation, but this role would oversee all production in that field.

The COI advises on, procures and provides communications across all media for clients in Government departments and agencies. Its aim is to help Government organisations secure their policy or public service objectives, while achieving communication effectiveness and value for money.
