Code Computer Love tunes Hed Kandi website

The site was created in just six weeks by the consultancy, which won a competitive pitch against eight other groups in April.

The Manchester-based consultancy was asked by Hed Kandi parent company MSHK to consider the newly established brand values, created by Fallon.

Initially asked to look at six templates for the site, this grew to 12. ‘It had to reflect the local and the exotic, and needed to incorporate the artwork of Jason Brooks,’ says Wes Hogg, executive creative director at Code.

‘There are sections for the brand elements, lifestyle, artwork and e-commerce,’ adds Hogg.

‘The e-commerce area,’ says John Lender, creative director at the consultancy, ‘is about getting the brand’s CDs and digital downloads on there, as well as tickets for events’.

Guidelines have been created for Hed Kandi, which has its own team of internal creatives who will be regularly changing artwork on the site.
