Hugh Clarke-Williams dies

Hugh Clarke-Williams, co-founder of Manchester-based group Tucker Clarke-Williams Creative, died at the weekend at the age of 55.

Tucker Clarke-Williams Creative, which was set up in Stockport in the 1980s, spawned the consultancies Love, Music and Dorothy. The founders of these three groups are paying tribute to Clarke-Williams, with whom they worked in the 1980s and 1990s.

‘The time we spent with Hughie at TCW is the DNA of all our three companies. We also managed to have a lot of fun along the way, and Hughie gave us some great memories,’ says Dorothy’s Ali Johnson.

There will be a service to celebrate Clarke-Williams’ life on 29 March at 11.15am, at St Peter’s Church in Prestbury, Cheshire. Donations can be made to Macmillan Cancer Support.
