Teach your children (to email)
New iPad app Maily is billed as ‘an email app for kids’.
Developed by Tom Galle, with graphics by Antonio Ladrillo, the app allows children to create, send and store emails (all of which can be, naturally, supervised by parents).
To make the app more appealing to children, Ladrillo has created a series of backgrounds, icons and characters, which children can use to customise their emails.
Galle says, ‘Maily allows kids to create emails in their own “language” – with tools adapted for their needs.’
So as well as using pencil and crayon tools and photographs, children can also insert fun icons, such as the sun, rainclouds and this peculiar green monster
Maily is available for the iPad from the iTunes store. For more information visit www.maily.com.
