Design Week Creative Survey set to be unveiled

Creative award wins are important to consultancies, but necessary for clients, according to Design Week’s 2010 Creative Survey.

Published tomorrow with the print magazine, the Creative Survey supplement features two key elements this year: listings relating to award wins for consultancies over the past three years; and a table compiled by You Gov charting clients’ perceptions of design groups in terms of creativity.

You Gov trawled top marketers to create the new chart as part of research about the design sector carried out by DW’s sister website Pitch. There is, though, little relationship between its listing and DW’s usual ranking of award-winning groups.

The DW charts once more take account of awards schemes respected by the creative community. The inclusion of interaction design prizes The Webbys and the Bimas has brought more digital groups into the rankings this year.
