Office Twelve creates Oliver Bonas store interiors
Leicestershire-based consultancy Office Twelve has designed a new interior concept for fashion and lifestyle retailer Oliver Bonas, which opens a new store in Bristol today.
Appointed in July through a credentials and creative pitch, the consultancy was challenged with retaining the boutique feel of Oliver Bonas’ London stores in a way which can be rolled out across larger footprint stores in other UK cities.
The Bristol store is split along the lines of rooms, physically delineated with full height walls, built into the 130.5m2 space.
This allows for ‘product storytelling through varied merchandising opportunities within a defined area, without departmentalising’ according to Office Twelve account director Hana Long.
Colours and materials include stainless-steel, grey-washed timber, olive-stained parquet flooring and soft grey walls.
The brand’s signature yellow has been used as a highlight colour and ‘butterfly displays’ have been applied around the till and store fascia.
Aiming to engage customers in a ‘charming and conversational manner’ quotes from authors, musicians and philosophers have been applied to walls within the store, and continued into fitting rooms where walls are suede cushioned and clothes hooks spell out ‘cheeky words’, according to the consultancy.
