The Chase is overall winner at the Fresh Awards

The Fresh Awards announced consultancy The Chase as overall winner at its ceremony in Manchester last night, when it handed out digital and creative honours across 44 categories.

The independently owned Fresh Awards organisation, now in its sixth year, awards excellence outside the M25.

The Chase picked up four bronze, five silver and five gold awards, plus the Big F Trophy – a grand prix award – for its Bending The Rules, self-promotion book.

The judging panel included Jim Sutherland from Hat-Trick Design, Mark Lester of Mark Studio and Stuart Radford of Radford Wallis.

The Chase took gold in the logotypes and marques section for its work with Freedom Travel Group and bronze in corporate identity for its I Feel Fruity logotype. A silver award went to True North for its stationery work with Karen Zelin Accountancy, and Purple Circle scooped a bronze for their NCHA annual report.

In the digital awards, Bluecube Interactive took gold in the freshest big idea category for www.btexperiment.com, while the freshest brand building category saw Fudge take silver for its English Squash and Racketball site www.englandsquashandracketball.com, and the freshest not-for-profit award went to Cogapp which took gold for its Kidney Patient Guide www.kidneypatientguide.org.uk.
