Visitors can also take part in the Pop Up Print installation, which allows them to ink up, get their hands dirty and craft beautiful prints of their very own.

Organised by Aaron Skipper and Amber Smith, this year’s LPF takes place at Leeds Gallery, which is hosting an exhibition of works by the likes of Dan Mather, Marc Ross and Sarah Milton throughout the week.

Meanwhile Music has created several large screenprint installations for the festival, which will be hung in the gallery space.

Festival organiser Amber Smith says, ‘The screens work very well as signage for the space, but as many visitors to the festival are new to print it is nice to show the other side of the process and what makes the magic.’

On Sunday LPF will be hosting a series of print talks, from Kitching, Matthew The Horse and The Print Project, from 10am.

The Leeds Print Festival is at Leeds Gallery, Munro House, York Street, Leeds LS9, until 27 January. For more information visit www.leedsprintfestival.com.
