London Gift Fair postponed

This year’s London Gift Fair, which was due to be held at Olympia in September, has been postponed due to market conditions.

The show, organised by Clarion Events, made its debut last year, with a focus on gifts, homeware, accessories and other products. The 2011 event – to have been held from 11-13 September – would have been its second outing.

Clarion Events says, ‘Given the current market conditions, it was felt that while there is an industry need for the London Gift Fair, in the interest of best serving the market, the right decision is to postpone the show until market conditions improve.’

Clarion says that in the absence of the London Gift Fair, the Top Drawer show – which focuses on design-inspired products and will also run from 11-13 September – will ‘grow into’ the National Hall at Olympia.

The branding for the London Gift Fair was created by Chilli UK.
