LWT airs new logo and idents

LONDON TV station LWT has a new logo and new computer-generated on-screen identity. English and Pockett created the logo, which was applied on-screen by the station’s in-house team.

The identity change coincides with the station’s new portfolio of networked and regional programmes. The consultancy has designed each letter in a single colour of red, silver and blue.

The on-screen identity, designed and directed by LWT graphic designer Mark Gouldie, shows a burst of particles in the three colours. The new look will be on air from 30 August.

Lambie-Nairn has been appointed to work on the identities of the BBC’s new digital channels.
