Designers support Odanadi charity launch
The logo and branding for the charity, which is dedicated to preventing sex trafficking in India, is based on the word ‘Odanadi’, which means soulmate in the Kannada language. It has been created by freelance graphic designer Sonay Yusuf.
Yusuf, who has been working on the project for a year, has developed a suite of promotional literature, including newsletters and business cards, while multimedia designer Byju Sukumaran has developed the website.
The launch event, which will feature a photographic exhibition of Odanadi women and children by photographer Kristen Perers, takes place tonight at The Museum of London Docklands, marking the EU Anti-Trafficking Day on 18 October.
Fashion designer Katherine Hamnett has created a range of limited-edition T-shirts to mark the launch of the charity's Stop Traffick campaign.
