Pancentric serves up flexible Burger King website

Digital consultancy Pancentric has created a new UK website for fast-food chain Burger King, which will facilitate further updates and add-ons in coming weeks.

Appointed directly to the project in July, Pancentric followed a brief to design a site that could accommodate features which follow the brand’s Have It Your Way message and create a back end that would allow Burger King to manage content more easily.

The new site hosts a Google Maps store locator, streamed Burger King ads, menu additions, nutritional information and offers.

According to Martin Boswell, development director at Pancentric, the Google Maps feature is to be expanded to include more detailed information on each store. ‘The map will show details like opening times or whether it’s a drive-through,’ he says.

A nutritional calculator will be added so customers can make up a meal online and check its nutritional worth. ‘It’s part of the Have it Your Way idea, and breaks down calorie and nutritional information, ’ says Boswell.
