Together brands Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design
Together Design has created the identity for Condé Nast College of Fashion and Design, which will be operated by Vogue and Tatler publisher Condé Nast.
The college is set to open in January 2013 in a central London location and will offer courses including the Vogue Fashion Foundation Diploma. It also plans to offer a House & Garden course and masters courses in fashion photography and interior design.
It promises to provide ‘a unique educational offering with a strong vocational bias, providing students with the skills to pursue a career in the fashion industry’.
Together was brought on to the project by consultant Candlestar last year. It has developed a typographic identity for the college, based on the Bauer Bodoni font used by Condé Nast.
The consultancy says, ‘The visual identity, including colour palette, approach to typography and use of imagery, is suitably high on style and inspired by classic fashion editorial design.’
Matt Baxter, creative director at Together, says, ‘The highlight so far has been the opportunity to delve through the Condé Nast photographic archives beneath Vogue House. It’s quite a treasure trove.’
The identity is rolling out across a prospectus, website, and print and digital advertising.
