Students have the chance to win a day with artist David Hockney as part of the And/or Book Awards.

All students enrolled at a college or university are invited to animate the And/or Book Awards logo, which was created by Us2design using a design by Hockney.

The winner will see their animation screened at the awards ceremony at London’s BFI Southbank on 23 April and will also get to spend a day with Hockney at his studio in Bridlington.

Students should submit their animation entries on a DVD of up to one minute in length by 31 March.

The And/or Book Awards, formerly known as the Kraszna-Kraus Awards, were established in 1985 and celebrate photography and moving-image publishing.

Further information on the competition is available on the website www.kraszna-krausz.org.uk.
