The Plant looks to classic Italian food packaging for Jamie’s Italian range

The consultancy says it has looked to Italian Modernism and classic packaging for the new range.

The Plant has created the packaging for the new Italian Deli Range of food products, with a look based on classic Italian packaging.

The Plant has been working with Jamie’s Italian since 2008, when it created the branding for the restaurant chain.

For this new project, the consultancy was charged with creating the branding for the new deli range, which showcases food used in the restaurants. The range features sauces, olive oils, pasta and drinks, among other products.

The consultancy says it drew inspiration for the look from Italian Modernism and “classic Italian food packaging”. It says it aimed to make the products “authentically Italian and classically styled”.

While each product has been individually designed, The Plant says it has used colour to unify different ranges and has created “a strong Italian mood with type and layout”.

The range is available in Jamie’s Italian restaurants.
