London 2012 Olympics-inspired Street Prints

By now we’re well and truly gripped with Olympic fever here at DW, so it’s a pleasure to see another cluster of stunning London 2012 themed prints grace our inbox.

Get-Set-Go! - Simon Dalla Pozza

The London Street Prints project is a collection of limited-edition prints by a group of different artists and designers, who have donated their time and work to be sold to raise money for London-based charity Broadway Homelessness & Support.

Albert Bridge - Leon Dufour

Organisers aim to raise £2012 for Broadway during the Olympics.

The prints are available online and will also be sold at an event this Saturday held, fittingly, in a 1950s-style boxing gym Gloves Gym in north London’s West Hampstead.

And we were also quite struck by this minimal depiction of the stadium by Alan Clarke:

As well as displaying the prints, the evening will also be screening the Olympics, and visitors are advised to ‘bring your plimsolls’…
