Alasdhair Willis leaves Established & Sons

The chief executive of British furniture design company Established & Sons, Alasdhair Willis, has announced his resignation.

Willis, who co-founded the company in April 2005, says he has left in order to focus on developing his creative consultancy Announcement, which he has run alongside Established & Sons since its launch in 2003.

‘I’m extremely proud of what I’ve achieved at Established & Sons – to create an internationally respected brand from the ground up is a major achievement in today’s climate,’ says Willis. ‘The company’s contribution to the design industry has been enormous, and I’d like to thank my team and the designers I’ve worked with for their support.’

Willis remains an equity shareholder in Established & Sons but will have no further role in the direction and operation of the business.

Established & Sons were unable to comment at the time of going to press.
