…And ditching the sponsor would be Wheelie Good too

In reply to your Voxpop in last week’s issue, asking for alternative names for the new Barclays Cycle Hire scheme in London, here’s my proposition.

Seeing as we own most of Lloyds TSB, wouldn’t it be nice if we could take the £25m from its bonuses and use it to fund the new scheme? And to lose the sponsor’s name entirely and get some kind of benefit from bailing out the banks? Then we could call it Wheelie Good.
