Are you a big kid at heart?
These images of a giant Tetris cubed-filled room instantly made us want to reach for our Gameboys.
They’re taken from the new Games Lounge at the National Media Museum in Bradford – which looks worth a visit, especially if a trip down memory lane of video gaming appeals.
Roy Crone, design director of NRN Design, says, ‘The design concept was to induce the feeling of being in a game. Simple box constructions were the most effective solution, and a simple version of a 3D Tetris game evolved.’
The exhibition opened last weekend and is to run for around 18 months at its current location. Organisers are currently looking for a permanent home for it.
Fingers and thumbs at the ready.
