Remember Hot or Not and Rate my Mate? They were the slightly obnoxious comparison sites popular among teenagers before Facebook and Twitter. Using this concept, 76logos.com has adopted a more design-oriented battle, where you can compare two logos and click on your favourite to raise its rating – strangely addictive.

We’re going alphabet mad at Design Week. Alphabet Truck is a project by photographer Eric Tabuchi, which took him on a journey chasing 18-wheeler lorries and taking pictures of the giant logo letters on the back of them. It has taken him four years and thousands of miles – the result is certainly creative.

We like the new-look Artsmart London site for its vibrant and graphic background. The University of the Arts London is holding Artsmart, a two-day event celebrating creative talent, in July. The programme includes talks, workshops and a recruitment fair to help aspiring artists and designers get a head start.

This site is certainly on trend after the recent rise in popularity of pinhole photography. Set and prop designer Kelly Angood has posted a downloadable A4-sized, eight-page PDF of a 35mm pinhole Hasselblad on to her website, complete with video instructions of how to make it – here’s one she made earlier.
