Branded at WMH offer brings together two Loewy agencies

Loewy Group consultancies Branded and Williams Murray Hamm have launched collaborative offer Branded at WMH, which will see the agencies work together on specific projects.

WMH founding partner Richard Williams says the formalisation has come about after Branded moved into WMH’s offices two months ago – although the two consultancies will remain as separate entities and continue to work on individual projects.

Williams says, ‘We have always enjoyed working with other people in the Loewy Group and we work together [with Branded] very successfully.’

A statement from Branded at WMH says the new offer brings together ‘two leading branding agencies with complementary reputations’ and marries ‘market-shaping strategy with disruptive, category-leading design’.

Branded at WMH has worked with Dixons Retail Group to rebrand its Tech Guys service brand as Knowhow and Williams says the partnership is currently working on three live projects.

Williams says Branded at WMH is separate to the Loewy Group’s cross-consultancy Loewy Unlimited offer, which sees staff from Williams Murray Hamm, Branded, Seymour Powell and The Team work together on projects.

The Loewy Group was acquired last month by Writtle Holdings and at the time of the acquisition a Writtle spokesman said Loewy Unlimited would continue ‘in a lighter form’.

Williams says, ‘Writtle is working its way around the business at the moment, I don’t know what the plans [for Loewy Unlimited] are. At the moment we are working on joint projects with Seymour Powell and The Team.’

In June, Williams Murray Hamm restructured its creative department in a move which aimed to highlight the integrated work it carries out alongside the branded packaging projects it has historically been known for.
